I must say, I've been making my own music all my life and these guys have guided me so profoundly over the last 10 years or so. I can't think of another existing band that moves me so deeply.

As I find out more, I'll certainly post. Last I heard, they were still touring in Europe but it's been a while since I've checked any of the sites.

Mon, November 28, 2005 - 12:28 PMI'd agree with that. I can't say how much this band has helped influence my tastes in music since first hearing Painful back in early 1994. Since then I've seen them in concert 6 times and on each and every one of the last five tours. The great thing is as innovative and ever changing as their studio stuff is, their live shows are even better. So if you love this band too, do yourself a favor and see them live as often as you can.
